This policy extends our General App Privacy Policy, to specifically address the Recovrr app.
Data Collection:
We only need your email address to use the app. Everything else is optional.
- Email Address:
Used for login, notifications, and messages from other users.
Your email address is kept private and must be unique.
Whenever an email is sent to this address (by an admin or another member), it is done so, through the server.
This is so that the address never needs to leave the server, and can remain hidden from the sender. - Password:
It’s one-way encrypted, meaning no one (including you) can see it. If forgotten, it can be reset. - Display Name:
Choose any name you want; it helps identify you in the app. - Location:
Shared in a “fuzzed” way, within a 5 km radius of your actual location, unless you choose to hide it. - Profile Image:
Optional. If you don’t provide one, a placeholder is used. - Tagline:
A personal phrase, visible on your profile. This is optional. - Recovery Date:
Share your recovery date if you want; it’s visible on your profile. - Phone Number:
Only shared with connected members, preferably a number that can receive texts. - Meeting Attendance:
Share your meeting attendance with your connections. - Relationships:
Your connections with other members are private. Only you can see who you are connected to (or are blocking).
Additionally, Recovrr.org, Inc. does not collect any data. The data required for app operation is stored securely on our server, and does not go anywhere else.
App Usage:
Only registered and approved Recovrr members can use the app.
Sign-Up Process:
After approval by administrators, all your information is stored securely on our server.
Connections:
Members start with no connections. You can connect with others for more interaction. Connections are mutual, between two individual Recovrr members.
Security:
We store everything on our secure server and believe in minimal data collection.
We do everything possible to secure your data, but remind users that no system can be declared absolutely “unhackable.”
In essence, we prioritize your privacy, providing control over your shared information, and ensuring the security of your data within our app.
